Sharam Diniz hasn’t always been a Victoria’s Secret model, but she’s always dreamed of becoming one.

The stunning news is the model will not only be walking the runway with the other world-acclaimed super models, but she is making history too. She is the first Portuguese and Angolan model who has gotten a spot on the prestigious Victoria Secret runway.

“More than a dream…a record was made! 1st Angolan & 1st Portuguese,” tweeted Sharam Diniz on Monday after hearing she would be part of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

We’re keen to see more of her amazonian bod, long limbs and sweet gaze in the near future. Another beautiful woman we’ve discovered to covet.

This Canadian model walked 29 shows this season and made quite the impression on fashion week goers and designers.

Fashion has a new face and her name is Grace Mahary! This beautiful face, is a 23 year old model newcomer from Alberta, Canada born of Eritrean parents.

Making her debut in last season’s Spring 2013 Fashion Week, she’s now on the major runways for New York, London, and Milan Fashion Week. From Givenchy to MaxMara and Balmain – this model is going places.

“I still find it hard to accept that I’m a full time model,” she said. “It’s an unbelievable honour to have worked with iconic fashion houses like Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Prada, but the sweet designers behind Balenciaga and Saint Laurent were a pleasure to work with too. I have to admit though, I learned and laughed the most with Riccardo Tisci and his team at Givenchy.”

The one ad that made it.. and made it onto our Friday Haute Babe radar is the Carl’s Jnr Burger advert that featured the Swimsuit Illustrated model and cover girl Nina Agdal… TRUST me.. Cod Fish Burgers have never looked this good, ever.

The 20 year-old beauty is a Danish fashion model who has lent her hazel-eyed siren vibe to Billabong, Macy’s Frederick’s of Hollywood and Victoria’s Secret. With her girlish innocent looks natural locks and gazelle proportioned limbs, Nina is definitely set to dominate the fashion waves this year.

With her Louise Brooks-bob and eccentric off-duty style, Wang Xiao’s got the makings to be the latest street style and runway star. 

She has walked Fashion Week in New York, Milan, Paris and London and participated in shows such as Luca Luca, Rebecca Taylor, United Bamboo, Mugler, Vivienne Westwood, C’N’C and etc. Wang Xiao made the editorials for  Vogue, ID magazine, Marie Claire, L ‘Officiel, V magazine, Harper’s Bazaar. Also among her accomplishments shooting for an advertising company cK One, ck one Jeans and Uniqlo.

According to All About Models,she is a model with such a unique appearance she is destined to become a star, because she has great potential, the ability to transform, to be different in the frame and of course she loves modelling.

Born in Rwanda, raised in France and now living in England Nadja Giramata stormed her way onto the modelling scene. She was spotted at Picadilly Place in Manchester on her way from to college.

She has walked in fashion shows for names such as Les Copains, Philip Treacy, Christophe Josse, Mauricio Pecoraro, Fyodor Golan, Sergei Grinko, Miss Etam and Lorenzo Riva.

She has done advertorial work for Topshop, Tommy Hilfiger and Pucci.

She appeared in editorials for i-D, Grazia France, Metal, Twenty-6, Pop, Style Switzerland, Dedicate, and the German and Italian editions of Vogue.

The fashion world just can’t get enough of Arizona Muse, her inch thick brows and gamine presence. Since reinventing herself with that oft-imitated signature bob, Ms. Muse has scooped up every campaign under the sun including superstar signifiers like YSL, Chloe, Fendi and Vuitton. Throw in a few well-placed covers for the likes of i-D, Dazed & Confused, Self Service and every Vogue under the sun and you have the makings of a model moment.

Her breakout season was September 2010 as a show exclusive for Prada. 2011 saw Arizona take off as one of the top modeling success stories of the year with multiple covers and campaigns. Arizona lives with her son Nikko in Brooklyn, NY. In Spring 2012, Arizona was named as Estee Lauder’s newest face.

Muse has appeared in editorials in French, American, Chinese, British, Korean, Spanish, and Italian Vogue, W, V, Numéro and Dazed & Confused. Her sudden rise to success has been the feature of an article in American Vogue and had the March 2011 issue of Dazed & Confused dedicated to her.Vogue editor Anna Wintour has praised her, stating in the February 2011 issue: “When I look at Arizona, I see shadows of Linda Evangelista and Natalia Vodianova, but most of all I see her, a gorgeous, smart, grown-up. And how could anyone resist someone with that name?”.

It isn’t too often that we see models of Malaysian persuasion, but we sure hope Shir Chong’s arrival on the scene will spark a scouting frenzy in Southeast Asia. From Sabah on the island of Borneo, Shir got into modelling thanks to winning a reality TV show/model competition. Having worked solidly throughout Asia, including work for CK One, Shir is sure to continue shining once her international agency placements are finalized.

Sessilee Lopez (born January 4, 1989) is an American model with a Dominican and Portuguese background. Her career started in 2004, when she signed with IMG Models. 

Her runway debut was at the Vivienne Tam and Daryl K Fall 2004 shows. Since then, she has walked for Shiatzy Chen, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Hermès and several other established fashion houses. She has appeared in editorials for American, Italian, French, Japanese and German Vogue, V Magazine, W Magazine, Allure, i-D, Dazed & Confused, Marie Claire, Numéro, Swedish, American and French Elle, Spanish and American Harper’s Bazaar.

She has signed contracts with Benetton and ckOne. She has appeared in advertising campaigns for Gap Jeans, Tommy Hilfiger, Barneys New York, GAP, Benetton, ckOne, Macy’s, Levi’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, DKNY, Nordstrom, Adidas, H&M, H by Halston and Uniqlo.

In September 2009, Lopez appeared alongside fellow models Arlenis Sosa, Chanel Iman, and Jourdan Dunn on the cover of I-D magazine. Lopez appeared in the 2008 and 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Crystal Renn born June 18, 1986 in Miami, Florida, started her modeling career in high fashion at the age of 14 after being spotted by a professional scout in her hometown in Clinton, Mississippi. Renn was told she would need to lose almost a third of her total body weight if she wanted to become a model.

Renn reassessed her diet and exercise habits, after gaining 70 pounds (32 kg) and re-emerging as a U.S. size 12, she was re-marketed by her agents as a plus-size model. Renn has authored a book, >Hungry: A Young Model’s Story of Appetite, Ambition and the Ultimate Embrace of Curves, about her experiences in the fashion industry in relation to her several body type transformations.

In addition to working repeatedly with notable fashion photographers Ruven Afanador and Steven Meisel and being the only plus-size model to appear on a Harper’s Bazaar cover and appearing in four international Vogue editions, Renn has enjoyed lucrative contracts with many high-profile plus-size clothing manufacturers such as Lane Bryant, Evans and Torrid,and has also appeared on the runway for Vena Cava, Heatherette, Elena Miro, and most notably for Jean-Paul Gaultier in his Spring/Summer prêt-à-porter 2006 collection in Paris, garnering favorable and extensive media interest. Renn is also notable for appearing in back-to-back campaigns in 2007 wearing big crayons and regular-sized (not specifically plus-size) clothing for Spanish retailer Mango; her photos appearing amid those of smaller models and without notation regarding her larger size, a rare occurrence in conventional apparel advertising.

In 2011, Renn became the face of the spring/summer campaign for Jimmy Choo and the spring/summer MR Denim Collection by Marina Rinaldi, a plus-size jeans collection.

The story of Kong Yan Song is symbolic of the young Chinese internet generation. It all started when some photos were published online and quickly spread on forums before gaining the title “The Most Beautiful Legs in China” in April 2009.

Kong Yan Song, born in 1988, was a sports student at the University of Beijing when she become famous.Voted “The Most Beautiful Legs in China” and quickly nicknamed “The Empress of Legs” her modelling career was launched.

Then one day the paparazzi spotted the long legged beauty with her equally long-legged little sister Kong Yao Zhu. Yan Song’s little sister, born in 1990 is not only a pretty face but a medical student as well.

Monrose began her modeling career in 2010 at the age of 18, when she was discovered by Your Angels Models, a local modeling agency in her native Martinique. Just weeks after signing with Your Angels Models Monrose began working with Wilhelmina in New York and Silent models in Paris.

After her first runway season Monrose was named a top 10 new face by Style.com, Models.com, and COACD. In July 2011 Monrose left Wilhelmina for Silent models, which now represents her in both New York and Paris.

Debuting during the S/S 2011 collections in New York, Monrose has since walked the runway for top designers including Michael Kors, Bottega Veneta, Lanvin, Miu Miu, and Yves Saint Laurent. 

After her first runway season Monrose was named a top 10 new face by Style.com, Models.com, and COACD. In July 2011 Monrose left Wilhelmina for Silent models, which now represents her in both New York and Paris.

Monrose has appeared in Vogue Italia, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue Turkey, Interview, Dazed and Confused, and V Magazine. She was photographed byMario Testino for the F/W 2011 D&G ad campaign.

Before becoming a model Monrose dreamed of a career as a designer. Deeply interested in fashion, in a January 2011 interview with Vogue Italia she named John Galliano, Zac Posen, Tom Ford, and Marc Jacobs as her favorite designers.

Arlenis Sosa, born May 7, 1989 is a Dominican model. She is the current spokesmodel for Lancôme and appeared in the 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

She moved to New York when she finished high school. Arlenis was discovered when she was walking with her family, and designer Luis Menieur (her mother’s agent) complimented her and told her she could be a model. In March, she just walked into Marilyn Models and was signed on the spot.Two weeks after she signed, she booked her first editorials for major magazines Vogue and Vogue Italia. 

She has since been featured in editorials and articles in American, Italian, French, Teen, Spanish, and German Vogue, Allure, Elle, Interview, i-D, American and Spanish Harper’s Bazaar. Her runway debut was at the Banana Republic F/W 08, and later walked for the Dior Resort show, and opened for Oscar de la Renta. She dove head-first into the fashion industry. “Anna Wintour sent me to the Met ball the first week I arrived in New York - I felt like Cinderella!”

Sosa has walked for some of the most prestigious designers and Fashion Houses in the world, including Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, John Galliano, Emanuel Ungaro, Hussein Chalayan, Alexander Wang, Jean Paul Gaultier, Hermes, Bottega Veneta, Anna Sui, Carolina Herrera, Donna Karan, Tsumori Chisato,Jason Wu, Carlos Miele, Derek Lam, Isaac Mizrahi, Matthew Williamson, Narciso Rodriguez, Ruffian,Tadashi Shoji, Iceberg, Mariella Burani and Diane von Furstenberg. Sosa, who is known for her full lips, became the face ofLancôme in September 2008.

Julia Frauche was born near Paris, France in 1989 but grew up in Cannes with her older brother and younger sister, where she enjoyed studying and playing soccer. 

Although scouted at the age of 16, she chose to focus instead on education and finishing high school. However, after moving to Paris for university at 18, she was scouted again and decided to give modelling a go.

In 2011 she switched agencies to Next Models, signalling a change from commercial to runway work and leading to her runway debut at the spring Jason Wu show at New York Fashion Week in September. That month she also walked for Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Fendi, Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana in New York, and in October she appeared on the catwalk for Balenciaga, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Chloé and Sonia Rykiel in Paris.

Julia Frauche has the kind of serene blonde good looks that will always be in demand, as you know timeless beauty never goes out of style.

She is also an activist, serving as the Goodwill Ambassador for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health for the World Health Organization. According to Forbes, Kebede was the eleventh-highest-paid top model in the world in 2007.

Desert Flower by former supermodel Waris Dirie. The film recounts Dirie’s childhood in Somalia, her rise to stardom and subsequent awareness campaign against female circumcision. It premiered at the Venice Film Festival and received a standing ovation. Kebede has also had minor roles in two films: The Good Shepherd and Lord of War.
