There’s no denying that a fine Italian company like Pirelli, knows its tyres just as well as knowing the world’s most beautiful women. Every December, Pirelli releases their annual photographic and artistic masterpiece The Pirelli Calendar that celebrates beauty, style and elegance. And.. we have to admit, this is one of the few times when the Csquared Menswear office turns a blind eye to the dangerously NSFW photos below!

The 2012 Pirelli Calendar titled Swoon, was shot by Mario Sorrenti—his first time shooting for Pirelli.

Which of the world’s finest beauties were invited to take it all off in the name of style?

A few of our favorite models Lara Stone, Joan Smalls, Guinevere van Seenus and actresses Margareth Madè and Rinko Kikuchi all posed for Sorrenti.

“It’s an incredibly prestigious honor—a huge accomplishment for a photographer,” Sorrenti said at the calendar’s unveiling press conference on December 6 in New York City.

So you’re probably asking yourself, is this Miss June?

Turns out there is no Miss January or February in this calendar; instead, Sorrenti designed a portfolio-style calendar where the owner can insert any picture into any month. “I couldn’t figure out which month for the girls was appropriate, so we just let that go,” he said.

Judging from the photo’s below - we reckon Sorrenti made a wise call! 

This is probably the only instance where all wish it was January, every month of the year..

This Calendar is only available to only a handful of Pirelli’s VIP patrons and so it is definitely #TOPSWAG fashionography for sure.
